 The year 5 and 6 had two days of school. the first the year 5 went to Flip Out and the year 6 went to Inflatable World and bowling. the next day the year 5 went to Inflatable World and bowling. and the year 6 Flip Out.

How to Grow a cabbage

A cabbage is a green vegetable. Cabbages are loose on the outside but squeeze together and really hard on the inside. Cabbages are good at growing all year long. If you're growing a cabbage patch then you should look  out for worms. They love cabbage. Apple's basically anything that's on the ground, that's food. Add a layer of vegetable mix to plant into. Cabbage can be planted in late summer. You can also make cabbage stew. This is my favourite cabbage stew. Ok now I'm going to tell you how to grow your own  cabbage.

Book Review

The Case of the Missing Carrot Cake by Robin Newman.
This story is about some MFIs (Missing Food Investigators) that have to go to the crime scene.  There is a missing carrot cake.  They heard the phone ring, and they rush over to Miss Rabbit to hear about the crime.  In the end the culprit was Miss Rabbit who was sleep walking and sleep eating!
I like this story because it is very funny and I like the investigating.  I like how MFI mice follow all the clues.  I like when Fowler says I can smell the cake from up here.  Hot-dog's cake had a secret ingredient in there ... dog biscuits!

ANZAC day

Me and mum and James made poppies for Anzac day. You have poppies to remember the people who died in the war.  We put them in our garden by the letterbox so people can see them when they walk past.

Me and James made a minecraft mansion.  It took a long time to build, especially when your brother disagrees with every idea you have.

Yesterday we made a Kiwi guardian detective kit.
We used milk bottles, paper sellotape and metal sticks so can put it in the ground. 
We had to use a sponge you had to cover it with food colouring in any colour you want.
Then you spread peanut butter on the sponge.
You'll be able to put it in your garden and see what will be in your garden at night because
of the footprints they leave behind when they come to eat the peanut butter.
I think a hedgehog came to eat from my Kiwi Guardian detective kit. : )

Grow your Mindset Day 1

Today me and mum built Lego boats.  You can see on the photo that we did a very good job following the instructions.  Sometimes it took a long time for us to find the right piece from all the Lego.

Tom is tiny and young.  He is only the size of your thumb.

He is brave, adventurous and daring

He looks athletic and sporty, and ready to take on the challenge.

It is going to be a hard challenge because he is so small.

Egg
A frog starts as an egg.
The egg grows bigger the frog start to hatch with a little tail.

Tadpole

The tadpole has a tail and it grows longer and longer.

Froglet
froglet starts to grow legs. The legs start to grow Toes.
froglet tail gets shorter and shorter and shorter and the frog grows arms and it is a adult frog.

Adult Frog

The tail is gone and it does not have to stay in water. It can still breath under water but also on land.

My favourite frog is the tree frog because I like climbing trees and it likes climbing trees.
